Transcript Requirements

Applicants with degrees completed in the United States

Unofficial transcripts from U.S. institutions should be uploaded in the Academic History section of the online application from every institution attended.

• St. 云州 staff will directly obtain your official St. 云州 or 明尼苏达州 transcript after admission decisions are released.
  • The University of Minnesota is NOT a member of 明尼苏达州.
• Official transcripts from institutions outside the 明尼苏达州 system will be submitted upon admission to be eligible for Unconditional Admission and second semester registration by direct mail or secure, encrypted electronic record distributors, such as National Student Clearinghouse or Parchment.

Applicants with degrees completed outside the United States (Summer 2024, 2024年秋季, Spring 2025 Applicants)*

Evaluation of international academic records are subject to the following requirements BEFORE the application file will be reviewed:

• Official transcripts or academic records must be received by 研究生招生 in sealed, original envelopes via mail directly from the issuing institution or secure, encrypted electronic record distributors to be considered for admission to any graduate program at St. 云州 University.
  • Unofficial transcripts and academic records from institutions outside the United States will NOT be accepted.
• Applicants that prefer to submit a course by course evaluation from a NACES-affiliated organization 自费 should select St. 云州 University 研究生招生 as the receiving institution.
  • Applicants who have not yet graduated or have not yet received final transcripts and 学位证书 must send an attested copy of the final marks/grades and diploma/final completion certificate in order to achieve Unconditional Admission.
  • At the time of enrollment at St. 云州, all grades must be recorded on official academic records and the degree must be conferred and posted. If the appropriate degree is not conferred on the first day of classes, admission will be rescinded and students will be required to return to complete the degree to take graduate-level coursework.
• Academic records determined to be fraudulent will result in immediate withdrawal of admission offers or institutional disciplinary action and, 如果适用的话, 向美国移民局报告, partner institutions, and other relevant agencies.

St. 云州 University professional staff may evaluate unofficial or official transcripts and academic records, 学位证书, and mark sheets completed outside the United States as a service to applicants to determine compliance with degree completion standards and GPA conversion.
The School of Graduate Studies may utilize the services of approved NACES-affiliated agencies or require applicants purchase a NACES-affiliated course by course evaluation at the discretion of the School of Graduate Studies staff.

The School of Graduate Studies requires expedited processing fees for applications received after deadlines defined below ($75, payable in addition to application submission fees). No expedited processing fees will be required if students elect to submit, 自费, a course by course evaluation from an approved NACES-affiliated agency.
